5th CEVET Conference
A Continuing Education Programme for the Veterinary Professionals
18 – 20 November 2022
Royal Tulip Sea Pearl Resort, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh
The veterinary profession in Bangladesh is passing through a phase of dramatic change in its size, diversity, and societal needs. Continual education (CE) is a process by which a veterinarian can keep himself up-to-date with advances in his/her professional field as well as maintain and enhance competence. Following the four successful events from 2017-2018, the CEVET forum comprised the Department of Livestock Services (DLS), National Veterinary Dean Council (NVDC), Bangladesh Veterinary Council (BVC), Bangladesh Veterinary Association (BVA), and Bangladesh College of Veterinary Surgeons (BCVS) is going to organize the 5th CEVET, the CE Conference for veterinarians during 18 to 20 November 2022 at the Royal Tulip Sea Pearl Resort, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. FAO Bangladesh is providing technical assistance in organizing the conference. National and international experts will deliver lectures.

Expected participants
The conference is expected to be participated by veterinarians and allied professionals like animal husbandry graduates for their continuing professional development.
Registration
The registration fee is Tk. 5,000. Registration is mandatory for participation in the conference. Registered participants are entitled to
- Full access to all conference sessions – over 40 hours of CE available
- Three days and two nights of all-expense paid accommodation in a 5-star hotel in Cox’s Bazar
- All meals, snacks, and free-flow tea and coffee throughout the conference
- Conference proceedings and souvenirs
- Complimentary pick & drop services at the bus stop and airport in Cox’s Bazar

Call for a success story
Most of the lectures at the conference will be from invited speakers. However, there will be limited slots for open presentations. If you feel that you have made a significant contribution to professional advancement or innovation that you would like to share with colleagues, you may submit your success story within 1000 words by e-mail to md.sikder@fao.org by 10 October 2022. The success story could focus on a clinical case study, novel or newly adopted clinical or surgical intervention, applied research, community service model, etc. The selected champions will have the opportunity of presenting their success story using PowerPoint/Poster/Model demonstration.
